How can I put an icon on my iPhone (or shortcut) that goes to My Disney Experience rather than future plans and tips?

    Valerie,

Thanks for your question to planDisney!

There is a way to do exactly what you suggest. Here are the steps

    1. When you are on your iPhone, use the Safari web browser app to open the Walt Disney World website.
    2. Go to My Disney Experience, and hit return.
    3. Once the page is loaded up correctly, click on the 'Share' button in the browser menu. It should look like a square with an arrow pointing upwards out of that square.
    4. Select "Add to Home Screen" from the options listed
    5. You will provide a name for the shortcut icon, then click "Add"

You should now have an icon with that name underneath on your iPhone screen. The icon will likely look like a silhouette of Mickey ears placed inside a circle on a field of blue.

    BONUS TIP
While this will work, you will be going to a browser page, but not the amazing new My Disney Experience App that provides all that same Disney account magic and more in a more iPhone-friendly setting. I would recommend that you add this app to your iPhone, as it will do things for you that a simple browser page cannot. This includes a more interactive ability to use

    • Disney Genie
    • Genie+
    • Individual Lightning Lanes
    • Mobile Online Ordering
    • Opening your Disney resort hotel room with your phone
    • More cool tools keep coming out all the time!
