MagicBands are a fantastic addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! They make it so easy to access your theme park tickets,
FastPass+ reservations and
Memory Maker account. Plus, Disney Resort hotel Guests can use their MagicBands as their room keys and to make purchases throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
Your MagicBands are linked to your Disney Resort hotel room through your
My Disney Experience account. Credit cards are not directly linked to MagicBands. When a Disney Resort hotel Guest makes purchases using their MagicBand, those purchases are charged to their hotel room folio and their folio balance will later be charged to your credit card. So, unfortunately, there is no way to link a
Disney Gift Card to your MagicBand. However, you can use Disney Gift Cards to pay the balance of your folio by visiting the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel. I recommend that you pay your balance using Disney Gift Cards throughout your vacation to avoid charges on your credit card.
