Hello how do I put my future trip on the diner payment plan

    Hiya, Daytriona!

Welcome to planDisney! I see that you're already fantasizing about all of the delectable, delicious dining you will partake in at Walt Disney World Resort on your magical vacation this summer. I can't say I blame you. Sometimes I catch myself daydreaming about the Fried Herb and Garlic Cheese and Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake at my favorite restaurant on property, 50's Prime Time Café. This probably happens a little more than I care to admit, but hey - they're delicious!

Soon you'll be standing in Tomorrowland, a Mickey Premium Bar in hand, soaking in the kinetic sights and sounds around you before heading to Frontierland to grab a cinnamon-sweet Churro. I'm sure you're more than ready to get your snack on! The Disney Dining Plans allow you to pre-pay for meals and snacks for the length of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I loved the convenience of being able to do this on my trips "home" in the past, and it sounds like you would love it too. Unfortunately, Disney Dining Plans are still temporarily unavailable. I wish I had information to offer you on when we can expect them to return, but I don't at this time.

However, there is another option that offers the same convenience of the Disney Dining Plans - Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, which allows you to place a Mobile Order for meals from your My Disney Experience App to one of the participating dining locations throughout all of Walt Disney World Resort. What does this mean, you ask? Instead of waiting in line to place an order for food at a quick-service restaurant counter, you simply place and pay for the order from your smart device. Then, you pick up your order from the designated "Mobile Order Pick Up" counter inside the restaurant when you arrive.

This option is SUCH a time-saver, because you can place an order from basically anywhere on property. So, if you get a hankering for some Corn Dog Nuggets from Casey's Corner while waiting in line to pick up some Hitchhiking Ghosts at the Haunted Mansion, simply place a Mobile Food & Beverage Order for a pickup time that's after you exit the attraction. I've even utilized this service to order dinner from Everything POP Shopping & Dining while on my way back to Disney's Pop Century Resort via the Disney Skyliner after a long day at the theme parks. It's so convenient and easy to use!

While you can't utilize Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to pre-pay for meals for the length of your trip all at once, you can place a credit card on file in your My Disney Experience account, which means all you have to do is select that card at checkout when placing your order - no need to retype number each time. Currently, Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering is offered mostly at quick-service locations, but Walt Disney World Resort is working towards expanding the selection of participating locations. They even recently added a table-service option, Sanaa.

I highly recommend you try this service out on your trip, Daytriona - you'll love it. Enjoy every delicious morsel on your vacation, and happy snacking!
