    Can I put Disney gift cards on my account before I board the ship for our cruise? What if we do not use all the money from our gift cards? Thanks

    Hi Kristie,

    You can add your Disney Gift Cards to your account before you board the ship.  However, I would suggest this....

    When you arrive at the port on the day of embarkation, you will be asked for a credit card to put on file for charges you make while you are onboard.  Your room key is also your charge card during your sailing.  I ALWAYS bring my gift cards with me and lock them up in our room safe.  Then, throughout our sailing, I go to Guest Services to look at the charges and pay off the bill with my cards.  It really keeps me on track for not overspending.
