If I put a deposit down for a vacation package in October 2027, am I am to change the dates of the reservation for the hotel and park tickets any time before 30 days to my vacation?

Greetings, Austin, and welcome to planDisney where it's never too early to start planning your trip to Walt Disney World. I'm so glad you found us so you can ask us your planning questions.

I'm happy to share that you're absolutely correct. Your vacation package is able to be modified or cancelled up to 30 days in advance of your check in. This means you can make any changes you need, pending availability, up until 30 days prior to your arrival. Please keep in mind that if you do move your dates, your 30 days will reset to the new arrival date.

You've picked such a great time to visit. Not only is the weather a bit milder during the month of October, there are also two of my favorite special events happening during that time. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an extra ticketed event that happens many nights from August through October at Magic Kingdom. There's trick-or-treating, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, just to name a few of my favorites. EPCOT international Food & Wine Festival is typically in full swing during that time as well. This event is included in your EPCOT admission and features the Eat to the Beat Concert Series and dozens of Global Marketplaces where you can try food and beverage items from all over the globe only offered during the festival.

Austin, I wish you happy planning, and please visit us again with any other planning questions you have.

    Let your dreams guide you!
