Hello there, Jessica. Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
Visiting the
Disneyland Resort with little ones truly makes for an epic and memorable Disney day! Of course, there are character interactions and attractions but some of my kids' favorite places in the parks tend to be the play areas like
Goofy's How-to-Play Yard in
Mickey's Toontown at
Disneyland Park and
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in
Disney California Adventure Park. And kids of all ages can enjoy hunting for lost treasure in the caves of
Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. These areas are great to keep in mind if your little one needs to get their wiggles out!
Jessica, stroller rentals at the Disneyland Resort are easily located just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, near the Harbor Boulevard security checkpoint. Both single and double strollers are available to rent and the current rental rates can be found on the
Stroller Rental page of the Disneyland Resort website. There may be a deposit required for the rental and, as long as your debit card has a major credit card logo, there should be no problem using it for your stroller rental deposit.
My
planDisney pal Melissa M recently shared her
best stroller tip on the
planDisney Instagram. She always ties a brightly colored ribbon around the handle of her stroller since so many strollers look alike (especially if they are Disneyland Rentals), so her stroller is always easy to spot. I think this is genius!
If you want to rent a stroller for the length of your visit instead of just for the day, Disneyland has a featured stroller provider named ScooterBug. They are a local, private mobility rental company that can provide rentals for the length of your stay if you are a Guest staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. More information can be
found here.
I hope this information helps, Jessica. Please visit us again with any other planning questions!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
