How would I put a deposit down to hold a room at a Disney resort.

    Hi there Marita,

Thanks for the question!  I'm so happy to hear you're planning a visit to The Walt Disney World Resort!  Booking your vacation is easy as cake and you'll only need to put down an initial deposit at booking as long as your trip is more than 45-days out.  To do this, just log onto the Walt Disney World website, and proceed with booking either your vacation package or your room-only reservation.  At the checkout screen, you will be able to select initial payment amount which can be any increment... deposit, or full amount.  You can make future payments by logging into your My Disney Experience account at any time up to the 45-day mark, when the full balance will be required in full.

You can also make your reservation and pay your deposit by calling The Walt Disney Travel Company at (407)WDISNEY.  It's a good idea to research your favorite resorts and package options online ahead of time if possible.

Hope this helps and please write back with any questions.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
