Welcome, Foolish Mort –– I mean Larry!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today. As it just so happens, you're going to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during one of my favorite times of the year –– Spooky Season! I love all the decorations and special offerings you'll find around the parks, from all your favorite characters dressed up in their favorite costumes to devilishly delicious special treats. And if you're really in the mood for some frightening fun, nothing beats a night of adventure at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On select evenings at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll be treated to a few extra hours in the park, with typically lower wait times for your favorite attractions, special entertainment offerings, exclusive character greetings, and get this –– trick-or-treating inside the park (seriously, I will never get over how cool that is)! If you're looking for an extra-special way to sprinkle some pixie dust on your upcoming visit, I definitely suggest adding this exciting
ticketed-event to your itinerary.
To make sure that you're ready to hit the ground running as soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll want to make sure your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations and your theme parks tickets are all linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Here's what you'll need to do to link those reservations:
1. Visit the Walt Disney World website and sign in using your Disney Account credentials.
2. Hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and select "My Plans" from the drop-down menu.
3. Under "Larry's Plans and Tickets", hover over the blue "Resort Hotel" circle and click "Link a Reservation".
4. Enter your confirmation number and the last name on your reservations, then continue following the onscreen prompts to finish linking the reservation to your My Disney Experience account.
And that's it! Your reservation should be linked and ready to view in the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. If you also need to manually link tickets or dining reservations, you can follow the same steps you used above, clicking the respective blue circle for each item you need to add. While you shouldn't have any trouble adding these items to your account, if a problem occurs and you need additional help, I suggest giving the
Disney Website Support line a call at (407) 939-4357 or using the chat feature on the Walt Disney World website to speak with a Cast Member.
I'm so glad you dropped by planDisney for a visit, Larry. If you think of more questions as your upcoming vacation approaches, please feel free to visit us again –– we're always here to help!
Happy Haunting,
Amy
