    Hello! If I put in a certain request for a room type will that still be taken into consideration if I check in online?

    Hello, Woodrow,

    As a new Disney Vacation Club member, I'm super excited about The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Whether you are staying as a member using vacation ownership points or enjoying the beautiful accommodations of the Disneyland Hotel's newest tower as a hotel Guest, you will be enveloped in the unique magic and nostalgia that can only be delivered by my favorite Disney Parks hotel. I can't wait to stay at our new home resort located at The Happiest Place on Earth!

    As my planDisney pal Carrie has shared, there are wonderful advantages to using the Direct-to-Room service to check in for your stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Here's how I would approach your check-in experience when taking into consideration room requests you may have:

    1. Use the Online Check-In service in the Disneyland mobile app. If you prefer using a web browser, a web-based option is also available from the My Hotel Reservations page. I recommend entering your mobile phone number to get notifications later.
    2. You may make limited types of room requests with the Online Check-In form. If you have more specific requests, you will need to call the number on the Disneyland Hotel website. Cast Members on the phone line can pull up your reservation and annotate it with requests as long as you call no sooner than 10 days before your arrival. Keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed. But it is a good idea to make them especially if you are hoping for something specific that would make your stay even more magical.
    3. Arrive at the Disneyland Resort as early as you can. You can take advantage of most benefits exclusively for Guests of the Disneyland Resort Hotels even before your room is ready. That includes accessing your hotel pool area and starting your day at the theme parks even sooner with Early Entry.
    4. When your room is ready, you will get a text notification if you entered your number on the Online Check-In form. Or you can check the status from the My Hotel Reservation screen of the Disneyland app.
    5. f you are "busy" relaxing by the pool or having adventures in the theme parks when your room is ready, feel free to keep enjoying your vacation, especially if the room number you see happens to match your requests. But if you would like to talk to a Cast Member about any other room options that might still be available, that might be a good time to call the hotel or stop by the front desk.
    6. You may use the Disneyland mobile app as a digital key to unlock your room door. Or stop by the front desk in the Fantasy Tower to pick up a Key to the Magic Card if you prefer a physical key card.
