    can you put cash or gift cards towards your magic band account at walt disney world?

    Hey there, Jessica!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Magic Bands are my favorite benefit and feature of a Disney vacation! Shopping, dining, and entering the parks are right at the touch of your wrist!

    To use your Magic Band for purchases, you must link a credit card to your Magic Band through your My Disney Experience account or once you are check-in. 

    Once you credit card has been linked to your My Disney Experience account and Magic Band, at the end of each day stop by the front desk and ask a Cast Member for your list of purchases. They will print it for you to review and you can then pay on that balance before it impacts your credit card. At that time, you can use cash or a Disney gift card to pay off your spending for the day!
