Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Michael!
I'd suggest getting
Disney Gift Cards (DGC) which can be
used throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Here are some reasons I love DGCs:
* They are no fees and they don't expire so if you don't use all the money you load onto it, you can use it on a later trip, at a Disney Store location or for purchases made online at
www.DisneyStore.com.
* You can purchase them online in set amounts from $25 - $500.
* You receive free standard shipping if you purchase them online.
* You can also purchase them in retail locations like the Disney Store.
* You can reload them at many locations at the Disney World Resort if you see that you need to add more money during your trip. You can reload them at Disney World for any amount between $5 and $1,000.

As far as the amount I'd recommend on putting on the DGC, would depend on what you plan to use it for during your trip. If you plan to use it to pay for all of your meals, then you should factor in the number of people you're paying for and what types of locations you plan to dine (Table Service, Quick Service, Snacks, etc.). I usually give my kids a DGC with a pre-set amount that they are allowed to spend for souvenEARs. They each have their own and that way they feel more in control of their spending.
