For purposes of dining reservations, do Disney Springs hotels (specifically Wyndham Lake Buena Vista ) have the same benefit as WDW owned/operated hotels that allow booking all dining reservations for their stay starting at 60 days in advance ???

    Hi Josh,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit to us. Disney dining is one of my favorite topics - there are so many great table-service experiences across the resort. A few of my own personal favorites are 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Narcoossee's, at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Tiffins in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It’s great that you’re thinking about your reservation planning now.

Guests staying at any hotels within the Disney Resorts Collection can book their dining reservations for the length of their stay (for up to a 10-night stay) as early as 60 days prior to their arrival date. This is a great perk for foodies who love to eat their way through their Disney vacation. All other guests (including guests staying at most Good Neighbor hotels with the exception of Shades of Green and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort) will get to book their dining reservations one day at a time starting at 60 days out. As a guest of the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista resort you will have access to reservations one day at a time and not all at once.

While this might not be the news you wanted to hear, know that in the case of most restaurants you should still be able to book the dining reservations you’re looking for when your window opens. If not, remember to check the My Disney Experience app for last minute reservations during the week of your visit or to add yourself to the restaurant’s walk-up wait list while you’re visiting. I’ve been able to secure several dining experiences this way when my plans changed at the last minute.

Josh, I’m hoping this information is helpful. Be sure to come back and visit us here at planDisney with any additional questions you have about your upcoming visit. We’re happy to help! TTFN… ta-ta for now!
