When you purchse the dinning plan does this mean you have pre paid for the alotted meals and snacks and save 10 -15% on the total package,or does it mean you pay for your meals but at a discounted price?

    Hi, Susan!

When you are on the Disney Dining Plan, your meals are paid for.  How many meals and snacks you get depends on which dining plan you selected.  When it states how much you save, they are just stating a general price savings of purchasing the Dining Plan vs. paying out of pocket for each meal.   Your total cost for your package will be clearly stated before you finalize your booking.

If you plan ahead and use all your dining credits, I think you will find that you will save money by purchasing the Disney Dining Plan.  Look through THIS page to decide which dining plan will work best for you.  Good luck, and happy dining!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
