Hello Janet,
Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!
It's great to hear that you enjoy visiting "The Happiest Place on Earth!" There's always so much magic to see and experience when you visit the Disneyland Resort.
I think my best suggestion for your theme park ticket question is to reach out to the
Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and speak with a Cast Member to get their guidance. You could also
reach out by email if that would be more convenient for you.
In the meantime, I'm happy to share some quick thoughts that I hope might be helpful. If I am following along with what you're describing, it sounds like the original unused theme park ticket is a 2-Day Park Hopper Ticket, and the new theme park ticket that you purchased was a 1-Day Park Hopper Ticket.
Typically,
the amount you pay for an unused and expired theme park ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new theme park ticket. What's important to note, though, is that the new ticket you're purchasing needs to be the same price as the original ticket or a higher price than the original ticket.
I'm hopeful, Janet, that the Cast Members with the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team can discuss the specifics of your tickets with you and help you get your tickets all set so you can enjoy a visit to
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park.
If planDisney can help you with any suggestions and ideas as you make your plans to visit the Disneyland Resort, do let us know and ask us your questions. We're here for you and happy to help.
Janet, here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
