Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon

    I am purchasing Typhoon Lagoon tickets and it’s asking if the dates are blackout dates or not. Where am I able to find blackout dates or are you able to tell me if October 28 is a blackout date?

    Thanks for swimming on over to planDisney with a great question!  The Disney water parks are a perfect way to beat the Florida heat and enjoy a SPLASHtacular day outside of the parks!

    There are currently some FINtastic deals on water park tickets so let's take a closer look at your options.  Right now there are two types of single-day tickets offered - one with blockout dates and one without.  The ticket that has blockout dates is cheaper but has less flexibility on when it can be used.  However, I'm happy to share that the current blockout dates listed for these water park tickets are May 25 through September 29, 2024, and May 24 through September 28, 2025.  That means that you should be good to purchase the less expensive ticket without needing to be concerned about blackout dates.  I was able to find these listed with "Important Ticket Details" after selecting the 1-Day Water Park Ticket with Blockout Dates as my purchase option.  If you think you may want to visit for more than one day, the Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass is back again and, for just a few dollars more, you can enjoy unlimited water park visits now through May 23, 2025, with select blockout dates in April 2025.

    Shannon, whether you are looking to float your day away on Castaway Creek or enjoy some bigger thrills like Crush 'n' Gusher, I think you'll love your day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  If you're traveling with any little ones, you'll also want to be sure to visit Ketchakiddee Creek - an area designed especially for children under 48 inches.
