When purchasing tickets, can you purchase a combination of base tickets and park hoppers? We plan to come down for 7 days next Summer, and will likely need to use the park hopper option for a day or two, but certainly not for every one of the 7 days.

    Hi Jamie!

When planning a Walt Disney World vacation it can be hard to figure out the kind of ticket you will need each day. After all, who wants to spend more money then necessary when there is so much else to shop for!

You can certainly Upgrade your Disney park tickets. However, you cannot select a day here and a day there. Obviously the best deal is to purchase the length of stay tickets as that is the best savings. Once you use a day of your ticket package you can then go and upgrade the rest of the days to add the Park Hopper option. But it would have to be for the entire rest of days left on the ticket. If you know what days you would not need a hopper then you can plan those for the beginning of the vacation and then add the park hopper to the back end of the trip.

Sometimes this can work well for families who don't have things so set in their minds that they have to do things on certain days. By doing the one park days at the beginning you can save a little extra by only buying the park hopper for the last days. I hope this explains the process a little better and hopefully you can work your plans to best meet your needs.
