Hey there, hi there Lisa! Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you are in the planning stages of quite the epic trip to The Happiest Place on Earth! Some of my favorite memories in the parks are from trips where we’ve been able to go with other families and friends of ours.
Kudos to you for being the master planner and being in charge of purchasing the tickets for your group! May the force be with you! I suggest purchasing your tickets as soon as you can since ticket reservations are required for entry to the parks. You can check the current availability for each ticket type on the
Theme Park Reservation Systems page.
Yes, once the tickets are all purchased you can share the ticket numbers with each family and they will be able to add those tickets to their own
Disneyland account. This will give them access to their tickets and any other plans associated with those tickets.
Since you mentioned
Disney Genie+ service, note that you can add that service to each ticket if you haven’t purchased them yet. If you have already purchased tickets, you will be able to purchase the service for each ticket when you scan into the first park each day of our trip. I think Disney Genie+ service is going to be a great addition to your group plans, as this will be one extra way to maximize efficiency when you have a larger group.
Mobile ordering is another great tool in the Disneyland app to help your group out for counter service meals and snacks throughout the day. My family saves so much time mobile ordering. It’s especially useful if we want to grab something from different locations and you don’t have to stand in line multiple times.
Thanks again for bringing your question to planDisney. I hope your upcoming trip is full of magical memories! Be sure to stop by again if you have any other questions.
