We are purchasing the Quick service dining plan. Do you have suggestions on places to get the most food for our plan? And are the desserts something you could take with you for later? Or are they not packaged that way?

    Hi there, Sherri!

The Quick Service Plan is a great way to economize on a big expense during your trip to Walt Disney World. And one major authority on that expense is found on the Disney Food Blog.

This is an unaffiliated site, but the Food Blog is well-respected in the Disney community for its in-depth research and advice.

The blog recently posted an article on just this issue:  http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2011/12/07/top-5-disney-dining-plan-quick-service-values-for-2012/

The article should provide a great start, and the good folks at AllEars.net - another third-party site - make it easier for you still by providing you with reviews and suggestions from other Disney fans. That reviews page is found here: http://land.allears.net/reviewpost/showproduct.php?product=552

If you'd like to send me some more specifics - your Parks destinations, any particular must-try foods or places - I'd be glad to help you with more specifics. But these resources ought to help you work out the bulk of your mealtimes.

The dessert issue is contingent upon where you are eating. You'll find, while browsing, that some desserts are easily transportable, while some must be eaten on-site. Again, this will be a matter of researching what works best with your travel party likes and dislikes.

Please let me know if I can be of further service!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
