Greetings Karen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am excited to hEAR you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Get ready to make incredible memories that you will cherish forever.
My 6-year-old is a very picky eater, so I understand your concerns. At this time, however, it is not possible to purchase a
Disney Dining Plan only for a certain number of Guests in the same party. Disney Dining Plans are only offered for Guests purchasing a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package, which means every person in the party must be on the dining plan.
Karen, let me tell you that I have never had any problems finding something for our little one to eat at Table-Service restaurants. We are always able to find something from the children’s menu or we talk to our server to check if substitutions can be made. One evening while we were dining at ‘Ohana our server brought amazing chicken fingers and fries and she was a very happy camper. Substitutions are not guaranteed, but always talk to your server.
Another strategy you can use depending on where you plan to dine, is feeding your daughter before going to the venue where you have a reservation. In this case you can most definitely go to a Quick-Service location before. You can offer her dessert later at the Table-Service restaurant. I did this with my daughter once and it was not a problem. She ate a hot dog and friends and had dessert with us after we were finished eating, but again, always talk to your server because they do go above and beyond to accommodate Guests.
I hope this helps you while planning! Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
