    When purchasing Multi Pass LL passes for a group, do the initial LL selections need to be identical for everyone in the group? If so, can I modify the selections for some members of the group immediately or do I have to wait until we scan at our first LL?

    Thanks for trusting us with this question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is one of my favorite vacation add-ons. This service allows guests to bypass the traditional standby queue and join a shorter line for select attractions. Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests get to purchase their Lightning Lane passes 7 days prior to the start of their vacation while non-Disney resort guests can purchase theirs 3 days prior to their ticket start date. During the Lightning Lane purchase within the My Disney Experience app, guests are able to book 3 pre-selected experiences - 1 from a list of tier one attractions like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom and 2 from a list of tier two attractions like Toy Story Mania! in Hollywood Studios. If you’re purchasing Lightning Lane passes for a group, everyone will need to book the same initial experiences. However, these can be modified after the initial booking. Simply navigate to the booking you’d like to change and tap Modify Selection. From here you can edit the group that will have this experience by unchecking the guests who want to keep the original plans and tap Pick a New Experience. Review the details of the change and confirm your selection. You’ll complete these steps for each Lightning Lane experience that you want to change for members of your party.
