    Hello, When purchasing merchandise or food at Disneyland or California Adventure, I'm commonly asked if I have any discounts. Would a D23 membership (one of the paid levels) be able to take advantage of this? The D23 site is vague on this item.

    As someone who frequents the parks any chance I can get, I am always looking for a good discount! When a Cast Member at a shop or food service checkout asks if you have any discounts, the most common ones they are asking about are Magic Key, Disney Vacation Club, or Disney Visa Card Member discounts. I haven't heard D23 Gold memberships as one commonly accepted. However, I took a look at the D23 discounts and offers, and I was thrilled to see there are a few Downtown Disney District locations as well as local hotels that currently have some discounts available for Disneyland. 

    I definitely think being a Disney Visa Card Member has been worthwhile for my visits. Not only will you get your discount at many locations throughout the resort, but you also earn Redemption Dollars. Redemption Dollars can be used at Disneyland, but Walt Disney World, and even ShopDisney.com too. If you like Character experiences, you will also be able to get exclusive cardmember experiences in both Disneyland and California Adventure.
