Thanks for sending your question to planDisney. It looks like my pal Kimberly recently answered one of your questions about
Magic Keys, and I'm happy I get to answer another one!
When completing a Magic Key purchase on the
Disneyland app, the "Add a Guest" line would be used if you aren't purchasing the Magic Key for yourself. You would need to add the other Guest's information, save it, and then select that person for the new Magic Key. If you are just purchasing it for yourself, then don't worry about adding a Guest.
It looks like you plan to apply an existing theme park ticket towards the cost of a Magic Key pass when you get to Disneyland. Keep in mind that once your ticket is used, the cost can only be applied towards your own Magic Key. You can't assign it to someone else. Also, if you try to upgrade mid-trip and have Lightning Lanes reserved, you will most likely lose those reservations and the ability to book additional ones (until you purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass again with your new Magic Key). I suggest either upgrading before entering a park for the first time or waiting until the end of your last day when you no longer need your current ticket. Just make sure to complete the upgrade before midnight!
