When purchasing the individual lightning lane passes for a ride for the group staying in a Disney hotel(2 separate bookings but linked as a friends and family group) will one credit card be charged for all 5 or is it automatically charged seperate

    Hiya Mark!

Welcome back to planDisney - I'm so glad to see you've stopped by with another question!

Individual and Genie+ Lightning Lane selections are a great way to save time while experiencing some of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World Resort. When purchasing these selections for multiple Guests, there are a couple of different options!

As long as everyone is linked as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience, the best approach is to have one person select and purchase the individual Lightning Lane selections for the entire group. This ensures that you all receive the same available time slot to return to the attraction. In this case, the purchase will be charged as a single transaction to whatever method of payment the purchaser chooses. I recommend having a saved method of payment in your account ahead of time to speed up the process!

Each member of your party is able to make their own individual Lightning Lane purchases, but in my experience, it can be a challenge to book the same times slots, especially on more popular attractions. If some in your group want or need to pay separately, my advice would be to have them simply reimburse the person who made the purchase for the entire group.

One more quick tip - if you run into any challenges purchasing individual Lightning Lane access or making Genie+ Lightning Lane selections, keep an eye out for Guest Experience Team Cast Members located within the Theme Parks. They're usually under a blue umbrella or wearing a blue shirt, and they can help get your magical day back on track!

I hope this information helps - please let me know if other questions come up as you continue planning!
