Hey there, Dana! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your ticket and reservation question! I'm so excited to see you are planning a fall visit to Disneyland Resort. It's one of my most favorite times at the parks.
Each retailer most likely has a different process for selling Disneyland Resort tickets. However they are sold, you should be given a ticket ID number for each ticket purchased that you will need to use to link to your Disney account.
To link tickets to your account, head to the
Disneyland website and log in or create a Disney account. From there, hover over the "My Disneyland" tab in the menu bar and click "Link Tickets". This will allow you to input each ticket ID number to link your tickets to your Disney account. Then you will be ready to make your theme park ticket reservations.
Currently, theme park ticket reservations can be made 120 days out. Once your dates are in that 120-day window, you will log back into your Disney account on the Disneyland website. Go to the "My Disneyland" tab and click "Ticket and Reservation Details". On this page, you will click on "Make Park Reservations". This will take you to another page and you will click on "Book Theme Park Reservation". You will then create your party for your reservation, by clicking each ticket you want to make a reservation for and then follow the steps to select your reservation date. Once you are done, you should receive a confirmation.
The next step in your planning process will be to make any
dining reservations you want for your trip. While it's not a must, it is nice to have one or two reservations for a multiday trip to enjoy. Currently, dining reservations open up about 60 days out. There are plenty of great quick service options in both parks if you don't get reservations and there's also the
mobile walk-up list at participating locations for the day of.
Dana, thanks again for stopping by and trusting us with your planning questions. We are here if you have any more along the way!
