Hello and welcome to planDisney, Laura!
Thank you for visiting us with a great question. It is a pleasure to assist you as you plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Guests still need to
choose the first day of their ticket at the time of purchase. Once you select the first day of your ticket, you will see the current park reservation availability for each theme park. You can use your tickets on non-consecutive days, so I find it very interesting that once you select the first day on the calendar, you can see availability at the parks for the whole period your park admission is valid.
Viewing theme park availability at the time of ticket purchase will allow you to plan accordingly, but I recommend making
Disney Park Pass reservations right after buying your tickets. Park reservations are limited in number and availability can change until a park reservation is finalized, so secure those reservations as soon as possible. If you need to make modifications later, you can cancel a reservation before making a new one, but be sure to
check Theme Park Reservation Availability before canceling an existing reservation.
I hope this information helps you plan a magical Disney vacation, Laura. Come back to visit us for more tips and advice, we are delighted to help!
