I am purchasing the Disney dining plan and have made reservations for my 50th birthday in April 2018. I wonder that in case we would chose to forgo one of our sit down dining times can we use that credit and get a quick service meal?

Hello Shannon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming 50th Birthday, Shannon! I know that I will be celebrating my "Golden" birthday at Walt Disney World Resort (as well as my 49th, 48th, etc.).

When using the Disney Dining Plan during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you can substitute Table Service credits for meals at Quick Service dining locations but not vice versa. If you choose to cancel your Advanced Dining Reservations be sure to look into the Terms and Conditions for the dining locations in question to avoid any no-show fees.

Booking Advanced Dining Reservations at a Walt Disney World Resort Dining Location is an excellent way to ensure an Endlessly Magical birthday experience. Be sure to let a Cast Member know it is your birthday upon arrival to find out what options are available for meal time celebrations.

You may want to look into the cakes and Birthday packages available through Disney Floral & Gifts for your special meal or maybe even the Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs.

    Have a Magical Birthday!
