When purchasing the Disney dining plan, are you able to start using the credits the day you arrive or after your first nights stay?

    Hi Alicia!

The Disney Dining Plan is a great addition to any Walt Disney World vacation!  We often add the plan because it's simple and convenient to have all our meals take care of ahead of time.  Your Disney Dining Plan credits are available to you on your arrival day.  They will be active and ready to use after you check-in to your Walt Disney World Resort or immediately if you have the option for expedited (skip the front desk) check-in.  You will use your credits by paying for your meals using your MagicBands.  Your receipt will show the remaining balance of credits.  Your credits will expire at midnight on the day you check-out, so you can use them on your departure day as well.

If you have the plan that includes table-service meals, be sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations as the more popular restaurants fill up quickly.  You can make your dining reservations 180 days in advance.

    Have a magical day!
