When purchasing a dining plan, do u have to purchase the plan for the same # of days that u are on disney. For eg, we are there for 8 nights, 9 days, but will lose most of the first and last days for travel, so can I purchase for 7 days as opposed to 9?

    Hi Uriel!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question.

The Disney Dining Plan is purchased in conjunction with your Magic Your Way Vacation Package. As such, it does correspond to the number of nights of your hotel stay, not the number of days that you will be on site. You cannot opt to change the plan to be for more, or less credits. Read all about the plan including how it is allocated and used, on pages 1 & 2 of the 2013 Disney Dining Plan.

Since you're staying for 8 nights, you'll be allocated Dining Plan credits based on that length of stay. These credits are used as you wish, beginning immediately upon your arrival and check-in and expiring at midnight on your departure date.

If you have further questions about a specific plan, or how to use your credits, please feel free to write me back and I'll be happy to assist you! I've used both the regular and deluxe dining plans on all of our family's trips over the past 9 years and I absolutely LOVE the value, convenience and flexibility they provide.

I hope to hear from you again soon Uriel!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
