when purchasing the DDP, and using the table service meal, Can you order anything on the menu? or are some items off limits?

Hello Samantha, thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I love the Disney Dining Plan and purchase it each trip we take to Walt Disney World.  We enjoy how convenient it makes a vacation plus it is paid for ahead of time!

A table service credit entitles each person on the plan to one non alcoholic beverage, one entree and one dessert at your meal.  If dining at all you care to enjoy locations, you can enjoy as much of the buffet offerings as you would like.  At restaurants with a full menu, you can choose any of the entree options.  So as long as you stick with the guidelines of what your credits entitles you to, you can order anything you would like.  If you choose to order an alcoholic beverage or an appetizer, that will be added on to your bill and you would need to pay for those items out of pocket.

I hope this helps clear up some of the Disney Dining Plan confusion for you.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
