I am purchasing a 14 day ultimate ticket. We arrive approx. 5pm on 18th September and stay for 14 nights, departing late 2nd October. If we use tickets from 5pm 18th will they last until 5pm on the 2nd? Or does it class as one full day? Thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your vacation planning question!

How exciting to be embarking on a two-week long jolly holiday at the Happiest Place on Earth! You are sure to have an amazing time creating priceless memories. Disney's Theme Park Ticket use days are based on calendar days. This means that if you choose to visit a park on the evening of September 18th, you will use up an entire day pass for just a few hours worth of park time that night. Unfortunately, it isn't based on a 24-hour day, but rather it is based on the date on the calendar. Since you are departing late in the evening on October 2nd, I would recommend saving the 14th day of your pass for your departure day instead. This would give you 14 full days in the parks. You could visit Disney Springs instead on the evening of your arrival. This won't require you to use up a valuable park day for just a few hours in the park. As a matter of fact, Disney Springs is extra fun at night! I have included a video with information on how to make the most of that evening if you choose to head there.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to send us a follow-up question.

    Wishing you magical memories,
