I will be purchasing a 4 day park hopper plus while in town for the Cheer Nationals Competition in Feb at ESPN. Since I have the plus option can I use the plus to attend the ESPN events all four days or will I need to purchase additional tickets for ESPN?

Hey there, Lee. Welcome to planDisney!

Cheer competitions at Walt Disney World are so much fun. My daughter has been a competitive cheerleader for quite some time and we always love when the schedule has a Disney competition. It adds another layer of magic to the event.

With your Park Hopper plus ticket, sometimes the admission to the event is included with that. However, it is up to each event company to determine if they are going to charge an additional entry fee. From my experience, we've always had to purchase tickets to the event, directly from the event website even when we've had the "plus" option. To know for sure, you'll need to reach out to the event company putting on the cheerleading competition. They will have all of the information that you need about tickets to this specific event. I would almost certainly plan on purchasing separate tickets to the cheerleading competition as it's always been like that for us.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction, Lee. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask us. We are happy to help.

    Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
