I am purchasing annual passes for my daughter's birthday. I plan on buying them in advance, but will we still have to pay for parking on the first day or will the a printed copy from home work until I can secure the actual passes at Disney?

    Hi Alexandra,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

We decided to rent a car during one of our last visits to Walt Disney World Resort, and we had just updated our Annual Passes prior to that visit. I’m pleased to report that, even though we hadn’t activated our tickets yet, we were able to head straight to the Theme Park of our choice and enjoy complimentary standard self-parking, one of my favourite perks of an Annual Pass!

All that we needed was to have our Annual Pass properly linked to our My Disney Experience count and to have the Cast Member at the entrance plaza an active MagicBand. I would recommend having your purchase confirmation email on hand too, just in case.

Finally, it goes without saying that, in order for you to be able to enjoy this Passholder perk, your daughter will need to be with you too.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
