We are purchasing annual pass for a long disney WDW trip in Jan. I understand the pass does not start until the first day we enter a park. I want to be about to book fastpasses and dining reservations. Does the pass start when I book fast passes?

    Hello Michael!

I love my Walt Disney World Annual Pass.  Not only do I get to visit Walt Disney World as much as I would like for one year, I also get to take advantage of great Resort discounts and discounts on merchandise.   I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have.

You are correct your Annual Pass will not be activated until you use it to enter a Theme Park for the first time.  In order to activate it, just stop by a ticket window with your ID and confirmation number.   When you purchase your Annual Pass and link it to your My Disney Experience account using the confirmation number, you will be able to make Disney FastPass+ selections and dining reservations before you activate it.   Isn't that great?   I bought my Annual Pass in December but did not travel until February and I was still able to make all my Disney FastPass+ choices.  It was great.

Enjoy your year of memory making at Walt Disney World.  If I can answer any other questions you have, please let me know.  It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Guest.
