When purchasing an annual pass, how long do you have to activate it? Is there a time limit or expiration date to activate once purchased? Does the "one year" begin on the date of activation and not the date of purchase? Thank you!

    Hi Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We thank you for your excellent question about Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes.

At the present time, there is no time limit or expiration date tied to the activation of Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes. Many Guests choose to buy them in advance in order to “lock in” current prices or to give them as gifts. These Guests activate their Annual Passes at a later time.

Your Annual Pass year begins the moment you activate your pass at Walt Disney World Resort. You may activate your pass at any Walt Disney World Resort theme park window, Guest Relations location or Disney Springs Guest Relations location.

Nancy, if you have any more questions or require further clarification please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you!

    Wishing you a Magical Year,
