Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Melissa. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
One thing I love about a
Walt Disney World vacation is all of the little things they've done to make it easy and stress-free. One of these little conveniences that I love happens to be charging purchases with the help of a
MagicBand. Essentially, your MagicBand is acting like your room key card and when you charge something to it, you are charging it back to your room. You can take care of these charges in a few different ways. If you do nothing, on your check-out day all of your purchases made with your MagicBand will be charged to the card that you have on file at the hotel. You'll receive a summary of these charges and will be charged at some point on your check-out morning. If you'd like to pay for your charges a different way with a
Disney Gift Card or something like it, you'll need to head up to the front desk of your
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel before your check-out day to settle up on how you'd like to pay. You can do this every few days, or right before your check-out day to make sure your card on file isn't charged. Currently, the charging limit is set at $1500 for MagicBand purchases. If you reach that allotment, you'll just need to visit the front desk, settle up with those charges and then your MagicBand spending limit will be reset. It's a very simple process to take care of.
I hope this helps, Melissa. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
