Ahoy, Cindy! Welcome to planDisney and welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line. It won't be long before the line where the sky meets the sea is all you see. It is the best!
I am glad you cruised by planDisney with this question about using your
Disney Rewards from Disney Visa. I love earning rewards each time I use my Disney Visa card. I mean, if I am standing in line at a grocery store, it only seems fair to earn some magic toward my next Disney vacation, right?
On my last cruise, I took my
Disney Rewards Redemption Card to Guest Services to have the balance applied before my account was settled at the end of the cruise. I also had a Disney Gift Card, so I needed to stop by Guest Services. You can skip adding a rewards card to your packing list and use the "Pay Yourself Back" feature instead. This is available on many Disney vacation expenses, including your charges on Disney Cruise Line.
You have up to 90 days from purchase to apply your Disney Rewards to your Disney Visa Card expenses. If you have the Chase app, you can log into your account, select your Disney Visa card and scroll to "Disney Rewards." There is a button on the top of the screen for "Pay Yourself Back." You will see all of your eligible purchases, the date of purchase, and the number of days left before the 90-day limit is reached. You can select to apply the total amount (up to your Disney Rewards balance) or specify an amount. Follow the prompts, agree to the terms, and
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! The amount applied will be reduced from your monthly statement.
You may want to check out the
Disney Rewards Insider Blog for more tips and tricks on all of the benefits of being a Disney Visa cardholder. I love the
exclusive access to character greetings at EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I hope you have an amazing time on the most magical ship that ever sailed. If you have any other questions, please come back to
planDisney. We love helping all our mateys!
SEA 'Ya Real Soon!
