Hey there, Jill, and welcome to planDisney! I’m more than happy to help you plan your next Walt Disney World vacation! But I must admit that it hurts helping Guests when Walt Disney World has forbidden us non-Floridians from purchasing
Annual Passes. Okay, maybe forbidden was a dramatic word choice — but you get the picture!
Jill, the Weekday Select pass is a legacy Disney World Annual Pass that is no longer offered. I confirmed with a Cast Member that passes automatically update to the comparable tiered pass within
Walt Disney World’s current Annual Pass program offerings. And I have a sneaky suspicion that you will enjoy this new change! This is one of those instances where change is a really good thing.
Jill, I reviewed the
Weekday Select Pass Blockout dates and the
Pixie Dust Pass Blockout dates and found that the dates are different. In some instances, they are quite different! One huge difference that I noted was the Pixie Dust Pass has availability for June and July of this year, whereas the Weekday Select Pass was formally completely blocked out those months. Looks to me like you get to spend some more time this summer in the Theme Parks! And it sounds like some last-minute Disney trip planning is warranted. After all, you have to take advantage of this newfound availability! As always, Jill, I recommend reviewing the Availability calendar to ensure that your desired Theme Park is available before you get too far into your vacation planning. If your desired park has availability, I suggest booking your
Theme Park reservations as soon as possible to secure your spot!
I hope this helps, Jill!
