Hi, I purchased WDW admission tickets from a reputable, third-party vendor for the first time, for my trip in January 2026. The tickets appear in My Disney Experience app, but there is no QR code like there usually is when purchased from Disney. Help!

    Hey there,

Welcome to planDisney! We are happy to have you stop by Pamela. it looks like you are planning a visit to the East Coast and have purchased some tickets. Let’s get started with figuring out your tickets.

The My Disney Experience App (MDE) is my favorite mouseketool for planning my vacations. This app will help you before, during, and even after your stay. You will want to upload your tickets from the reputable website. It sounds like you already have them loaded. They may look a little different depending on if they are date based tickets. You may want to check with the reseller for details on what kind of tickets you purchased. But if you do have questions on your tickets and why they may look different in your app do not hesitate to call for assistance by phone

Once you have all your tickets situated in your MDE, you will be able to start making plans for your stay 60 days ahead of your arrival date. You will be able to schedule Enchanting Extras, as well as advanced dining reservations for popular restaurants. some restaurants are more popular than others and we want your attention first. There are some new lounges at EPCOT as well as Magic Kingdom. Geo-82 is an adult-only experience at EPCOT with upscale beverages and fancy eats. The chic geodesic design is everywhere and is very pleasing to the eye. Beak and Barrel is in Magic Kingdom Park, and the entire family is welcome there. There will be small plates as well as pirate-themed adult beverages available. There are also themed beverages without alcohol. This location looks like its right out of a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean, and has some surprises up it's sleeve just like Jack Sparrow.

You will also want to link your MagicBands ahead of time so that when you arrive, you can just start to scan in to your park of choice or even your room if you are staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel. If you link a credit card to your account you can even pay for items and scan for PhotoPass pictures.

Hope this information is helpful for figuring out your tickets. If you have any other planning questions visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical visit,

    Jeremy A.
