We have purchased the Water Options ticket for the first time. How would you recommend we use it? Is it always best to arrive first thing in the morning to the waterparks? Was considering using it on our arrival day as our flight comes in @ noon.

    Monique:

The Water Parks & More Option added to a Magic Your Way ticket provides one of Disney's best entertainment values, in my opinion. You'll get the most out of it by using it for Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks as well as DisneyQuest over miniature golf. If you have a golf-lover in your party, Oak Trail's 9-hole walking golf course is simply gorgeous and can be paid for with a Water Parks & More Option credit.

Visiting a water park on your arrival day is a solid plan. Just keep in mind that it may take you three hours to get from the jetway to your hotel for check-in. If you plan on using Disney transportation to travel to the water park, allow yourself time. Check the calendar for the water parks for your arrival day to make sure that they stay open late enough to make it worth your time. While it's best to get to the water parks before opening to get a good spot and access to the best slides without a wait, a later arrival like yours will find open chairs and lower crowds as the afternoon wanes. I wouldn't recommend booking a table service dinner on your arrival night if you do decide to hit the water park as you may be wiped out. A snack dinner at the water parks or the quick-service location at your resort will allow you to hit the hay and get enough rest for the parks in the morning.

DisneyQuest is a perfect end to a day that may find you leaving Animal Kingdom earlier than the other theme parks. Time it with a meal at Downtown Disney for a night of fun.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
