I purchased Walt Disney Exchange certificate from a military travel facility. I am trying to make park reservations but need a ticket ID number. How do I make park reservations? Thank you.

    Hi Debra! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm so grateful for the fantastic discounts military families are offered at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm very happy to hear you're planning a visit. It's great that you've done your resEARch and know that Disney Park Pass reservations are required for each day of your visit - let's get you all set up so you can make those and let the magic begin!

The base ticket office locations sometimes carry different types of military promotional theme park tickets, including the exchange certificates you have. Usually, those look like a card stock card with a number on the back. That should be your ticket ID. Using that number, you will log in to your My Disney Experience account, click on "Tickets and Passes," and then "Link Tickets & Passes." Here you will add the ticket number in the field provided; click "Where is the ID number?" to see a helpful menu of different ticket types, including exchange certificates, with the location of the ticket ID highlighted. Once My Disney Experience accepts your ticket ID, it will prompt you to link the ticket to a Guest. If you have multiple tickets, repeat those steps until each of your tickets is linked. You may also use the barcode scanner in the My Disney Experience mobile app to upload the ticket, although I have found it doesn't always work smoothly on military tickets.

If you need any assistance linking your tickets, please call the My Disney Experience help desk at (407) 939-4357. The Cast Members there are always super helpful and will help ensure you're all set.

Once the tickets are linked, you will be able to make Disney Park Pass reservations. There’s a helpful video on that webpage that walks through that easy process. Each Guest must have a Disney Park Pass reservation for each day they plan to enter a theme park, so it's important to do that as soon as you can - as more Guests are comfortable traveling, the theme parks are reaching capacity some days.

It looks like you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I just love wandering the World Showcase, snacking, sipping, and taking in the sights and experiences. There's nothing like it! As you get closer to your visit, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for updates on the festival and other summer fun activities to enjoy during your vacation.

On behalf of my own military family and my fellow panelists, I'd like to thank you for your service to our country. Thank you for stopping by planDisney! We're here to help if you have any further questions as you plan and dream.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
