Hi, Xiao. Welcome to planDisney!
At this time, all Guests staying in your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room with a vacation package must have the same theme park ticket. While your guest is welcome to visit the theme parks with you, they will not be eligible for
Early Theme Park Entry if they are not staying in one of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. If you'd like them to be able to stay with you and use the ticket they have purchased, you would need to look into canceling your vacation package and then rebooking as two separate purchases: a room-only booking and
theme park tickets. If this is something you're considering, I would highly recommend you look into the
Terms & Conditions of your vacation package and ensure that there is still availability at the hotel you'd like to book before you cancel. Otherwise, the extra member of your party will simply meet you at the theme park when it opens to all Guests.
Keep in mind that in some parks like
Magic Kingdom Park, all Guests are usually let into the park during Early Theme Park Entry, they just can't ride the attractions until the park officially opens for everyone. So your guest could walk around Main Street, U.S.A., grab a coffee at the
Main Street Bakery, and do some
shopping while you ride some of the attractions in Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. Then, you can all meet up and start riding rides together when the entire park opens. You'll also want to note that some parks don't allow Guests without Early Theme Park Entry to do a lot of exploring before it opens to everyone else. For example, the last time I went to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and wasn't staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, we were held just past the entrance and couldn't explore much until everyone was allowed in.
Xiao, I hope you have a wonderful August trip to the resort. Be sure to check out the brand-new experiences that will be available when you're there like
Tiana's Bayou Adventure (opening June 28, 2024) and the
Country Bear Musical Jamboree (opening July 17, 2024) at Magic Kingdom Park, as well as
¡Celebración Encanto! at
EPCOT (available until September 6, 2024).
If you have any other questions,
feel free to send them my way!
So clap your hands, and stomp your feet, and try to keep right with 'em,
Matt
