On 3/31, I purchased a vacation package for July, including 2-day park tickets planning on Visiting one park per day on 7/17 & 7/18. With the reopening, reservations are also required, so how do I make a reservation to go with my existing tickets?

    Hello Nicole!

I’m so glad you found us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s an exciting time as all of the US parks plan their upcoming reopenings!

July is one of my favorite times of the year to stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Make sure you take a day to lounge by the pool and enjoy the perfect Southern California weather. When we stay on property, we like to take advantage of Magic Morning and hit the parks until lunchtime. By then, the weather is absolutely perfect for a dip in the pool. If you're staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, make sure to cool off with a drink or bite to eat from GCH Craftsman Bar. If you find yourself around the Disneyland Hotel, then Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar will be your stop for your favorite drink or dish! If beach vibes are more your thing and you’re staying at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, then do me a favor and check out The Sand Bar by the pool.

As far as reservations go, the details haven’t quite been released yet as to how you will make one. What we do know is that all guests will be required to make a reservation for park entry with a new theme park reservation system. It sounds like you're all set with theme parks and a place to stay. With the parks planning to open in less than 30 days, you can expect to hear something very soon. If you aren’t already doing so, keep in touch with the Disney Parks Blog to make sure you’re the first to know!

Well Nicole, I hope we can welcome you to the Happiest Place on Earth very soon. If anything else comes up for your vacation, please come back and let us know!

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
