Hey there Miguel,
Happy new year and welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you stopped by with your question.
I'm happy to hear that you're well on your way in planning your next trip to the Disneyland Resort. How fun! I'm also pleased to share with you that the names assigned to tickets during the purchasing process on the
Disneyland Resort website is more to help you keep your tickets organized. However, the names you assign to standard theme park tickets purchased directly through the Disneyland Resort website don't lock them in to only being used by that person.
When each ticket is scanned for the first time for entry into a park during your visit, the Cast Member at the entry gate will also take a picture of each Guest that will be assigned to their ticket. It's this process that then locks the ticket to that person for its duration.
However, if you're like me and end up being the trip organizer for visits to the Happiest Place on Earth and it would be helpful to get a name changed on a ticket, you can
reach out the a Cast Member at the Tickets line to help get that changed for you. It's typically a quick and easy process in my experience.
Thanks again for your question, Miguel! I hope you have a fun time on your upcoming trip.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
