Hello I purchased two tickets and the only thing I just realized is that I wanted tickets for California Adventure but I didn’t realize that I got the ones for Disneyland. Is there a way to switch it to California Adventure instead of Disneyland?

    Hello Guillermo,

Thanks for bringing us your question here at planDisney! I'm happy to hear you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort and enjoying all the magic of the theme parks.

When you purchase new theme park tickets for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park using the Theme Park Tickets & Reservations site, you're really taking care of two steps at the same time -- purchasing the theme park tickets and making the theme park reservations.

It sounds like you purchased your theme park tickets and made theme park reservations for Disneyland Park and you're really interested in making reservations for Disney California Adventure Park instead.

It's helpful to know that theme park reservations can't be modified once you make them. What you can do, though, is cancel an existing theme park reservation and then make a new theme park reservation.

Before you cancel any existing theme park reservations, it's always a good idea to take a look at the calendar that shows Theme Park Reservation Availability. This will help you see really quickly if the theme park you want to visit has reservations available for the day you want to visit.

If you see that reservations are available for your desired theme park on your desired day, you can take the next step by signing in to your "My Theme Park Reservations" page. When you see your existing theme park reservation, you can select it and cancel it. You can then use the tools to make a new theme park reservation for your desired theme park on your desired day.

Guillermo, I do hope this helps you make the theme park reservations for your plans. If you have questions about your theme park tickets, you can call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Services team at (714) 781-4636 and speak with a Cast Member for assistance.

There's a lot to see, do, and experience at the Disneyland Resort, Guillermo. I always encourage Guests to follow the Disney Parks Blog as a fun way to stay in the know about all that's coming to the Disneyland Resort and its theme parks.

Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
