I purchased two tickets last year. The calendar says I can't use them for the day I want. Do I need to upgrade, and if so, how do I do that?

    Hiya, Michele!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR with your Disneyland Resort planning question!

Oh dear! I'm so sorry that you've run into this Park Pass Reservation runaround, Michele. I sadly don't have the proper magic mirror to see inside your My Disneyland Account to see exactly what's going on, however, I do have two guesses that can point you in the right direction:

If your Theme Park Admission Tickets are only valid for one Disney Day, then it's possible you might be able to use them still without needing to call anyone, but you'll have to switch your plans around a bit. 1-Day tickets are subject to tiered date-based pricing as well as tiered days of use, which I agree can be kind of confusing but also frustrating when trying to rebook. If this is the type of ticket you have, you should be able to rebook for any day that is the same level or lower than the ticket level you purchased. (EX: If you purchased a Tier 4 ticket, you can redeem it on a Tier 4 day or a Tier 2, etc.) However, if the current Disney date you have in mind is truly the only day that will work for your schedule, you can upgrade the ticket you currently hold to the tier level needed by calling the Disneyland Ticket Helpline at (714) 781-4636 where you'll pay the difference between the two tEARs.

If your Theme Park Admission Tickets are not 1-day passes and you're still having problems making Park Pass Reservations, it's possible that your tickets have expired. While the use-time of theme park admission tickets expires, the value of what you paid for them does not. What you can do now is pretty much purchase new tickets that are of the same value or higher, and apply the original amount spent on the passes you currently hold towards the price of your new tickets. To do this you will still need to call the Disneyland Ticket Helpline, but the great thing is a friendly and very knowledgeable Disney Cast Member will be able to walk you through all of your options, like adding the brand new Disney Genie+ add-on option if you'd like. The phone number for the helpline is (714) 781-4636.

I hope that one of these solutions helped to stEAR you in the right direction to be able to add some Disney days to your upcoming calendar, Michele!
