I purchased two tickets for my brother and nephew, they live in Colorado, the tickets are under their names, I purchased them with my debit card, they are unable to come due to financial difficulties, can I transfer the tickets to my name?

Hey there, Cristy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I’m so sorry to hear your brother and nephew are unable to make the trip to Southern California. I hope in the future, once their situation allows it, they can come and experience the magic.

Cristy, unused tickets can be transferred to another Guest. Just call Ticket Services and they can help you change the names on the tickets. Also, tickets typically have a long shelf life (for instance, multi-day tickets purchased this year won’t expire until early 2024) so when you call Ticket Services, also confirm the expiration date of your tickets.

Remember to make park reservations when you know the dates you'd like to visit. You can make reservations up to 120 days in advance. Every Guest needs both a ticket and park reservation to enter the parks. Log in to the Disneyland account you used to purchase the tickets, and go to My Disneyland, Ticket and Reservations, Make Park Reservations.

You’re a great sister to help your brother out this way. Wishing you much magic once you get to visit the parks.
