Hi, Eddie! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh my Mickey ice cream bars, your wife and daughter will have such a magical time at the Walt Disney World Resort! It's a beautiful time of year to visit, and I just know they're going to absolutely love it.
You're certainly in the running for Dad of the year with this thoughtful gift, so let's make sure everything goes according to plan! The central hub for all of your family's vacation plans is your
My Disney Experience account. Your
Disney Park Pass theme park reservations won't show up on an email confirmation, but they should be right there in your account. If your wife has her own My Disney Experience account, you can invite her to connect with yours through the
Family & Friends list, and then she'll see all of the plans you make for her. You can also simply have her use the same login you use to access your account on the
My Disney Experience mobile app on her phone, and she'll have the ability to view and alter the plans herself. This is how we do it in my family. We have one account in my name, with one login that my husband also uses with the app on his phone. That way, if we happen to split up during our visits, we can both make plans.
When your wife and daughter arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, they'll just need to stop by Guest Relations with the confirmation email to pick up their
Admission Cards, and they should be good to go. Then, having access to the My Disney Experience app in the parks will give them the ability to do things like order meals on the go through the
Mobile Ordering feature, check attraction wait times, and use the new
Disney Genie service. It's a big help when you're trying to decide what to do next!
Eddie, I hope this helps your wife and daughter have a magical time exploring
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and
EPCOT during their visit. If you need any more info, please don't hesitate to stop by with another question. We're always here to help however we can!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
