Greetings, Tyler!
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to see that you will be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short days. I am sure that everyone in your travel party is getting so excited about your upcoming adventure. You chose a great time to visit.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong and
traditional Character Greetings have recently returned. I hope you are ready for the best trip ever!
I am happy to report that all Disney-owned dining and merchandise locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort will accept
Disney Gift Cards. There are some third-party vendors including select shopping locations in
Disney Springs that do not accept Disney gift cards, so I recommend checking with a Cast Member before checking out if you find yourself in a location that is not operated by Disney. Pro tip: If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel, you can charge dining and merchandise purchases to your room with a
Magic Band or Card. Before checking out you can apply the gift cards to your room balance. This is a great option if you do not want to carry physical cards to the parks during your stay.
Disney Gift Cards can also be used for
Mobile Food & Beverage Orders! I love using this super convenient option available in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can choose the time you prefer to dine, place your order and go about your park day. When your window arrives, head to the restaurant and select
I'm Here in the app. Your order will be freshly-prepared and you'll receive a notification when it's ready. No need to stand in line. I especially love using this tool when I am traveling with children because I can make modifications to the order as needed without causing a slight delay in line while my children contemplate their options.
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
