Hey Nick!
A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us with your wondEARful question about
Walt Disney World Resort annual passes.
Nick, congratulations on the purchase of your Walt Disney World Resort annual passes for Florida Residents! You must be so excited about your upcoming visit. You will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the World’s Most Magical Celebration and the holidays. You are truly pixie-dusted, Nick!
Nick, the expiration date you are currently seeing in your
My Disney Experience account is linked to your Annual Pass exchange certificate. Essentially, until you activate your annual pass for the first time, what is linked to your account is an annual pass exchange certificate. This certificate allows you to make Disney Park Pass theme park reservations and enjoy some of the
benefits of being an annual passholder -- before you officially activate your annual pass.
These certificates need to be redeemed for an annual pass within one year. Once you activate your annual pass, your My Disney Experience account will reflect your new expiration date which will be exactly one year from when your annual pass is activated.
I hope this helps, Nick! If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!
Wishing you a Magical Passholder Year,
Priscila
