Stephen from NJ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased 6 two day park hoppers with Genie+. 1 of my guests may not be able to come. What do I do with his ticket? Is it refundable or exchangeable or if not how long is it good for?

Hey Stephen and welcome to planDisney!

It's no fun when someone has to back out of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The official policy is that tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable but not to worry! There's still a way to maximize your pixie dust and your coins!

Nobody panic! Nontransferable is not nearly as daunting as it sounds. If your guest has to miss out on the magic, it is possible to bring someone else instead. You also have the option to change the dates on those unused tickets prior to their expiration. Just pop into your My Disney Experience account and change them. Sounds like the start of another Walt Disney Resort vacation to me!

Stephen, I hope I've been able to help you here at planDisney.

    Happy planning!
